Peter Robrechts

Peter Robrechts is licentiate in Applied Economics (UFSIA 1987), Business Engineer (UFSIA 1998) and Master of Business Administration (VUB 1992). After his studies and military service, he was employed for one year in 1989-1990 at the bank ING (formerly BBL) in the university internship team and the branch network.

In September 1990, he joined the ranks of Deloitte Bedrijfsrevisoren (formerly Deloitte & Touche), where he was employed for six years in the audit department specializing in auditing banking and insurance institutions, listed companies and auditing non-profit sectors such as hospitals and health insurance funds.

In September 1996, he became partner at the Accounting firm DRT & Partners with headquarters in Wemmel.

In June 1999, he founded the firm Robrechts & Partners Bedrijfsrevisoren. After Monika Lenaerts joined the company as company auditor in 2010, the name of the company was changed to Robrechts Lenaerts Bedrijfsrevisoren – Réviseurs d’Entreprises.

Monika Lenaerts

Monika Lenaerts is licentiate in Commercial Sciences (EHSAL 1998) After her specialization year in Accountancy and Auditing (KULeuven 1999), she started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Brussels as junior auditor, where, working as part of a team, she audited both multinationals and SME’s.

In September 2002, she became senior auditor at the private limited company Robrechts & Partners Bedrijfsrevisoren, where, in addition to the statutory auditor’s mandates, she further specialized in legal assignments and the auditing of grants and subsidies of the European Commission.

After successfully completing her internship and obtaining her title of Company Auditor in 2009, Monika Lenaerts became partner at the private limited company Robrechts & Partners Bedrijfsrevisoren in 2010.

In August 2012, the name of the company was changed to Robrechts Lenaerts Bedrijfsrevisoren – Réviseurs d’Entreprises.

Jens Michiels

Jens Michiels is licentiate in Applied Economics (UA 2014) with a specialization in accountancy and auditing.

After graduating, he started his career at the private limited company Robrechts Lenaerts Bedrijfsrevisoren – Réviseurs d’Entreprises in September 2014.

In the years that followed, he gained extensive knowledge and experience, both with regard to legal assignments, audit certificates for grants and subsidies, and statutory auditor’s mandates and this in various sectors, ranging from the non-profit sector to other sectors such as retail, industry and the entertainment sector.

After successfully completing his internship, Jens Michiels earned his title of Company Auditor in 2021.
